Mordealz is a hyperlocal automobile deals marketplace operated by ELIXYR TECHLABS PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in India. We connect car and two-wheeler buyers with verified local dealerships across Indian cities. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at mordealz.com.

By using Mordealz, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platform.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

We collect personal information only when you explicitly choose to express interest in a dealer offer. At that point, we collect:

1. Your name
2. Your mobile phone number
3. Your email address (optional)
4. Your purchase intent and timeline (selected by you in the interest form)

Browsing Mordealz — including viewing vehicle pages, offer listings, and dealer profiles — requires no registration and no personal information whatsoever.

Information collected automatically

1. Approximate city location, detected via your IP address, to show you relevant local deals (this detection is anonymous and not linked to your identity)
2. Pages visited and offer cards viewed, for analytics purposes (via Google Analytics)

What we do NOT collect

1. Payment card or banking details — all payments are processed directly by Razorpay. Mordealz never sees or stores your card information.
2. Government identification numbers (Aadhaar, PAN)
3. Precise GPS location

3. How We Use Your Information

When you submit an interest form, your information is used to:

1. Connect you with the specific dealer whose offer you responded to
2. Send you a confirmation of your interest submission
3. Enable the dealer to follow up with you regarding their offer (typically within 24 hours of unlocking your lead)

Data sharing

Your contact details (name, phone, email) are shared only with the specific dealer you expressed interest in, and only after that dealer has paid to unlock your lead in their dashboard. We do not:

1. Sell your personal data to any third party
2. Share your data with advertisers or data brokers
3. Share your data with other dealers unless you explicitly opt in to competing offers

If you selected "I'm open to offers from other dealers" in the interest form, your information may be shared with up to two additional verified dealers for the same vehicle in your city.

If you requested finance or insurance information, your details may be shared with Mordealz's verified finance and insurance partners solely for the purpose of providing you quotes.

4. Data Retention

Lead data (interest form submissions) is retained for 12 months from the date of submission, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems. Analytics data is retained in aggregate and anonymised form in accordance with Google Analytics' data retention policies.

To request early deletion of your personal data, email us at privacy@mordealz.com with your name and the phone number used in your submission. We will process your request within 30 days.

5. Your Rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

As a data principal under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

1. Right to access: You may request a summary of what personal data we hold about you.
2. Right to correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
3. Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
4. Right to grievance redressal: You may file a grievance with our Grievance Officer (details below) within 30 days of any issue arising. We will respond within 30 days of receipt.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Mordealz uses minimal browser storage. Specifically:

1. We store your preferred city in browser localStorage so we can show you relevant local deals without re-detecting your location on every visit.
2. We use Supabase authentication cookies for dealer and admin sessions only — public users have no session cookies.
3. Google Analytics may set cookies for aggregate usage analytics.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics.
